Vlog: How I "Organize" My Running Stuff

A couple weeks ago, Meranda @ Fairytales and Fitness wrote a post about how she organizes all of her running stuff. Her organizational skills are amazing! I would characterize myself as being a pretty organized person, but I don't hold a candle to Meranda!

Today, I thought it would be fun to show you how I "organize" my running stuff. Notice, I put organize in quotation marks!

Check out my Vlog to see what's going on!

Do you consider yourself an organized person?

How do you organize your running stuff or workout gear?

  1. Aww, i'm glad you think my organization is impressive.
I think as long as we know where our stuff is and it is in a place that works for us, we're good!
Love the idea of the under the bed tote!

    1. The under the bed totes gives me so much more room. If it weren't for those, I'd need a big dresser and our guestroom is not that big.

  2. I can't play the video because it's only 5:30 and I don't want to wake anyone up. :( But all my running clothes have their own drawer in my dresser and I switch out seasons. So all of my summer stuff is in there right now and my winter stuff is in a bin in the crawlspace. I'll switch it out in a month or so!

  3. I love the rolling crate under your bed! very handy for getting it out of the bed.

I do not consider myself organized, but my organization system works for me. I have one drawer of shorts and leggings, and one for tanks and sport bras. But I keep all my socks together.

  4. I'm not really organized physically, but in my mind I know where everything is, so I'm mostly good with that! I have my moments where I can't find things and I end up ripping through things to find stuff, and that irritates me. I haven't organized my running clothes lately and I really need to. I'm sure I'd find a cool race shirt or shorts that I forgot I had!!

    1. I think I am like you- mentally I know where it is! On the floor of my closet...

  5. I ended up hanging my running clothes. I feel the same way about why bother folding them, but then things would get messy in my dresser drawer. I have enough room in my closet, and it's easy now to grab what I want, and hang it back up after doing laundry.

    2. I do hang my newest Boston jacket, because, RESPECT! My older one I actually wear so it's in a tub!

  6. I have all my running stuff (except clothes) in the basement and its not really that organized. Like I have a place for everything but I have a lot of small stuff shoved into bags and my closet where I keep my shoes is a mess. I have a bin i my bedroom closet for my winter stuff and I don't fold that, but I do fold my shorts and tank tops otherwise I would never be able to find them!

  8. Switching clothes between seasons ... what's that mean?! :D

I don't fold my running/gym clothes either. I literally just stuff everything in a drawer. I don't even pair my socks up! I throw them all into a bin and then look for matching ones as I need them!

    1. Here is a question: Do you wear different colors for different seasons in FL??? I know it is always going to be hot, but are there fall/winter patterns you wear?
