Weekly Workouts!

My last week of summer workouts!

Saturday- 1 circuit and 1 deck of cards workout.

The circuit was completed 6 times: (26 min)

200 jump rope rotations
10 burpees
10 donkey kicks
40 bicycle crunches
10 push ups
20 mountain climbers

Deck of Cards: (21 min)

Hearts- burpees
Spades- jump rope rotations x10
Diamonds- bicycle crunches x2
Clubs- donkey kicks

Sunday- 10 miles. Paul and I had a disc golf/running date at Spring Meadows Park. I ran loops around the trails at the park and through the cornfields into the little town of Boiling Springs and South Middleton Park. It was so humid. 94% humidity... Which is really just summer in PA, ammiright!?

Monday- Lifting at home. This was just a quick and dirty workout since we were going to Knoebel's early with the family! I did a lot of walking around the amusement park... 5.5 miles. I felt like I had to stretch after!

Tuesday- Rest! I just wasn't feeling motivated to workout today. Instead, I ran errands and did a lot of organizing in our house.

Wednesday- 6 neighborhood miles. My very last lazy, late morning summer run before school starts. My hammy hurt a little so I stopped and stretched and that made it feel 50% better. I wish I knew why I have hammy pain pop up from time to time. Usually it is paired with a little bit of a pull in my groin, which makes me think it's a hip issue.

Thursday- A crazy circuit and a deck of cards! I did the circuit six times.

Friday- Carport. deck of cards and circuit. I was super tired because Jelly work me up at 5am, but I got 'er done.

How were your workouts this week?


  1. Yes! It's been so humid. I don't get up nearly as early as you do so I'm going to miss my morning runs once school starts...boo

    1. Thanks. :) I've been a little ho hum lately... Just trying to get my sweat on, not trying to run longer or faster or anything.

  3. Have you been doing your hip stretches? I remember we talked about that earlier in the summer....

    1. Yes, I do pigeon pose and foam roll.
