My week started with a race, then finished with less running than normal because:
A: Recovery
B: Preparation for 16 miles on Sunday.

Saturday- Lifting @ home. This workout felt good! I tried not to take too many breaks so my heart really got pumping.
Sunday- Buck Ridge Burn Half Marathon. Race recap here. It was a very tough course! I got first in my AG and 4th woman overall!
Monday- Lifting at home. My legs were a little sore from the race but not as sore as I thought they would be. Despite getting a very good night of sleep, my body was tired from the race. I did my lifts but it was an effort.
Tuesday- 6 slow miles. I was still sore from the race and tired, but the run felt good and I was glad I got to see how my body felt. I wore my new fleece lined running tights for the first time. It was 30 degrees out. I was OVERHEATING! These pants are no joke!
Wednesday- Lifting @ home. Chrissy hopped up on the chair I was using for assisted pull ups and cock blocked me from doing my last set.
Thursday- 6 morning miles in shorts! Don't get too excited... it was only 40 degrees. But for 40 degrees, I wear shorts!
Friday- 6 morning miles. Freaking Friday! Friday runs are the best...

I remember Tuesday of last week, it was cold!! So those tights must be really really warm!!
