I have a problem.

Friends, I have a problem. A decorating problem.

When I was at Big Lots this weekend, there were SO MANY OUTDOOR DECORATIONS. Alas, I didn't need any more. Paul didn't want us to have anymore. We have a small yard and we don't have room for more!

But...

There was one more outlet. One more place to plug something in. It was just OUT THERE IN THE YARD waiting to be filled.

And fill it I did...

I bought an 8 foot inflatable gingerbread man with a Santa hat. Paul thinks it's ugly. I think it's borderline ugly but I love it!

The neighbor girl helped me set it up. She's six. She needed to hold it in place while I put the stakes in. It's 8 feet tall! If no one held it, it would fall over!

Paul is not thrilled but he got over it. Especially since I assured him this was it. NO MORE. Want to see a picture in the dark? Of course you do!

I finally feel like my life is complete, now that I have my 8 foot gingerbread man... I don't know what came over me after work yesterday. I just HAD to go to Big Lots and get it.

After I left Big Lots, I popped into Payless. I got a new pair of shoes! I love them! They're so cute! Only $19.99. I think they will look great with some of my jeggings.

Have you ever just HAD to go back to a store and get something???

  1. You are never done decorating outdoors for Christmas! If you don't have it already - you need a sound system that synchs with the lights. And a 10 foot Rudolph. That's my ultimate goal...

    1. That sounds awesome!!! I wonder how hard it would be to get a speaker out there...

  3. We put our lights out yesterday. I guess I have not mastered the skill yet because it takes about 12 extension cords to get everything lit, and there's really not much to it! Ok, maybe not 12, but it seems like it.
Love the shoes! Sydney is on the hunt for a pair, but we haven't made it to Payless yet.

    1. Payless had a lot of cute ones that were a good price. I always feel weird paying more than like 19.99 for shoes at Payless. If they're more than that, should they really be at Payless?

  4. I'm in love with your yard. If you lived near me I would probably organize group night runs just to come take pictures in front of your yard. I love that Gingerbread man too!
