Sunday Funday - Front Stoop Workout!

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
Hello, Friends!

Thank you for all the feedback you gave me on whether or not I should continue giving a wrap up of my weekly workouts. I have decided to discontinue it. Boy was it freeing these past couple runs when I didn't have to take a picture of my Garmin immediately after!

However, many of you shared that you like when I post my workouts because it gives you ideas for your own. I am still going to give you ideas in a different way. I present to you...

What is Sunday Funday you ask? Well, it's the day of the week I will share some new ideas for workouts. Most of you have your RUNday on Sunday. So after your long run, kick back with some carbs and check out the Sunday Funday workout you can use later in the week!

Today's Sunday Funday Workout is all about your front stoop! Check it out!

1. Step Ups
2. Tricep Dips
3. Knee Up/Backward Lunge
4. Inverted Push Ups
5. Side to Side Jumps

Enjoy!
Any other ideas for exercises you can do with your front stoop?

  1. Thank you! These are great ideas! My PT has me do these glute exercises where I walk up the stairs backward and focus all the power in my glutes. It is hard to explain and it's easier to do on a staircase, but I try to do them when I travel up and down my stairs.

    1. The only bad part is if it's indeed a front stoop and not a back stoop everyone in the neighborhood can see you hahaha. When I was filming this video, a guy with a dog walked by staring at me and our next door neighbor kids came out to the front yard to watch. How embarrassing! I can picture the glute thing and after a marathon when my quads were really sore I have walked up stairs backwards so my butt has to do the work and my quads don't!

  2. I am going to love Sunday FUNday workouts! I think those knee ups with backwards lunge would need a few tries...lol. I am so bad with coordinated movements like that. I'll practice! I did a couple of pull ups at the gym the other day!! :D I'm too nervous to do them when people are right there though, lol.

    1. You can do those knee up backward lunges with a box or weight bench at the gym too and hold dumbbells. They are GREAT for leg day! I used to do them alllllll the time before my knee troubles. That is awesome you can bang out some pull ups!!!!!! You are so silly to be nervous you are probably the most fit person at that gym.

    1. Yes, with a little creativity, you don't need to buy certain things. I actually use my piano bench as a weight bench hahaha.
