I have a new quiche recipe to share with you today! I think it might be better than my chicken sausage/spinach/feta quiche, which up until now, was my specialty!
It's ground turkey, tomato, and grated parmesan. The trick is to use a lot of cheese and a lot of garlic, oregano, and Italian seasoning!
The parmesan is what inspired this recipe. I bought it a couple weeks ago because I saw some people used it in quiche. I wasn't quite sure how I'd use it, until Paul cooked up some ground turkey. Then I knew I had to make something Italian inspired!
I didn't measure anything for this quiche. I do remember I used 5 eggs and 3 egg whites. Also about a cup of skim milk and salt and pepper. This pan is about 4x8 or similar. Not quite as big as a cake pan.
I'm not good at taking food pictures, but I promise you, this is divine!!!
Note: All of the ingredients are from Aldi!
Please tell me you will try this quiche recipe!
I didn't realize Aldi had the shredded parmesan. Good to know! I was there this week (usually Alan does that shopping). It's fun to visit Aldi! This does look like a good recipe. One of these days I will be trying this out!
ReplyDeleteAnd it is sooooooooooo easy!!!!!!!!!!! It tastes like spaghetti and meatballs. I don't even taste the egg because of the seasonings. Let me know how your family likes it. :) Tip: Have Alan make the ground turkey ahead of time so you only have to make the quiche part. :)
DeleteThanks for sharing! I like me some quiche. What kind of pastry dough do you use?
ReplyDeleteThe fillo (sp?) dough. But now I really don't you any crust at all!
DeleteThis was not made with a crust.
