Sneaky Six o'Clock Speed!
I ran loop dee doops around my house and turned it into a speed workout

A weird and lazy back workout at home.

It was pouring so I wasn't sure what I would do today. The rain let up for a few minutes and it looked like the sun was coming out, so I geared up for a run. It started to rain as soon as I left my house and the last half of my run was done it heavy downpour! It was super humid, but I ran loops around my neighborhood and got in 7 miles. My knee did not feel good so I stretched and foam rolled like crazy when I got home!

Did you get caught in any rainy runs this week?
Nice week of workouts! I love that you're running with your dad today. My dad had knee replacement surgery and hasn't been great about the PT required after so now he can barely walk let alone run. We've had a couple of storms but they've been at night. Supposed to be rainy possibly for my race on Sunday though.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear about your dad's knee. :( My dad got back into running after a cycling accident in which he broke his collar bone. He is all healed up now but sort of got into running instead of biking!
DeleteLast night I met a friend for a 5 mile run and it rained. It felt good because it was so humid!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the workouts! Enjoy your run!
Rain definitely can feel good sometimes. :)
DeleteHave fun running w/ your dad today. No rainy runs but on Thursday morning it was only 49 degrees so I had to wear light weigh gloves. Not ready for cooler weather!!
ReplyDeleteI am not ready for gloves either!
DeleteNo rain this week, but it's supposed to rain tomorrow. Because of that, I did my long run today.
ReplyDeleteGood deal! Hope it was a great run. :)
DeleteNo rain :( I'm in Los Angeles, so we have zero rain, all drought. I miss the rain!!
