When I stepped away from my computer, Jelly hijacked my Sunday Funday post!
Don't worry, I got it under control.
Today's Sunday Funday features some Creative Core Exercises. (Don't you just love alliteration?)

Thanks, Meg. I am doing this program this week when I do my AB work. I am getting a little tired of the beachbody guy on the CD that I do so your cuteness will be a welcome change. I really love my yoga to also work on my core. Especially the CHATURANGA!
ReplyDeleteHow is the foot feeling today?
Okay I had to google CHATURANGA... wow what a great core and upper body workout! I am sure you yoga stuff really targets your core. Foot feels great today! I feel a tiny bit on the side, but I'm going to run! Rand 8 yesterday so it is better despite the running... whew!
DeleteHappy, happy, happy news about the foot! Enjoy your run, friend.
ReplyDelete"The slower you go, the more horrible it is." LOVE IT! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are some great moves. I so need to work on my core!!
I speak the truth! ;)
DeleteI literally JUST posted to a running group I'm in about core exercises. Such good timing for this post to pop up! I was in desperate need! These look fun!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Jelly was trying to tell us...
I hope you can use some of them! Jelly is trying to be a diva. :)
DeleteI am very excited about this video! A friend of mine was getting rid of her giant workout ball so she gave it to me! I plan on using this workout video tomorrow for my strength exercises. Thanks Megan! And to answer your question about my foot, it felt very good yesterday after I had is great. I was able to run the race without it bothering me. My massage therapist also taught me to tape it so that it was also a little more supported. I have an appointment tomorrow to go get it checked again but no one is convinced yet that it's planter fasciitis. They think it is just a tendon that is inflamed.
ReplyDeleteWONDERFUL NEWS!!! I think that is what I had- just an inflamed tendon on the side. I had it before Boston last year. I hope you like those stability ball exercises. The pull ins and the ball pass are my favorite ones to do with the ball.
DeleteGreat video!!!
ReplyDeleteI took your suggestion and tried the stability ball pass (I've already done it the way you showed) as a new 45 - I tried doing it while balancing on the BOSU. I'm going to have to work on it before I can master it!!!
Omg I don't think I could do it on a BOSU ball! I would fall right off. You have really good balance though. Please take pics when you get it!
