I am resurrecting a blog game I used to
do back in the day! 2 Truths & 1 Lie is a fun way to share some
stories with you. Thanks to past 2 Truths & 1 Lie posts, you have
learned some interesting facts about me, such as...
* I quit high
school track after only five practices.
* I was an extra in the movie
Girl, Interrupted.
* I once did a cartwheel while crossing the
finish line at a trail race.
So here we go again! Two of the
statements below are true and one is a lie. Can you guess the lie!?
1. Before I got my job teaching elementary
music, I taught 8th grade English.
2. My first sip of alcohol was on my 21st
birthday, when I had a Mike's Hard Cranberry at Red Robin.
3. One of my favorite musical performances
was as a Kit Kat girl in Cabaret.
Ooh, this one is tricky! Leave your answer for the LIE in the comments! Good luck! Answers tomorrow...
Were you in track in high school?
When did you have your first sip of alcohol?
Do you like musicals? Performing? Watching?
I think #1 is the lie.
ReplyDeleteI think you've mentioned the other two before .... . But now I am second guessing myself a little because #3 could also be the lie? I feel sure you've said #2 though.
This is a tough one! I am gonna guess that #1 is a lie but I really have no idea!
ReplyDelete#3 is the lie!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I would say #1 is the lie unless of course you were subbing. If that's the case than maybe #3 only because I have no idea what a kit kat girl is and maybe it's a role you didn't care for. Really I have no idea! Guess I'll have to check back tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteYour answers are interesting! Do check back tomorrow. :)
DeleteI feel like maybe you drank before 21?! Or maybe that is just me who had my first beer at 15 and then at 19 got a fake id! I didn't run track--I ran but for "fun" but I was a cheerleader :) Oh, my...I LOVE MUSICALS. Not performing although that would be a dream! I have so many favorites but I still think Wicked is my #1 (so far...).
ReplyDeleteFAKE ID! Wow! Livin' on the edge. :) I didn't know you were a cheerleader.
DeleteNot just a fake ID, but one with my picture on it. I can't believe how gutsy I was to do that (used my sisters birth certificate!!). Yes, cheerleader for 4 years. LOL--I loved it!
DeleteI'm going for #2. If you waited until you were 21 to try alcohol--that would be amazing!
ReplyDelete#2 is the lie.
ReplyDeleteI was not in track in High school, but I did run a mile at 7:30!
My first sip of alcohol was a corona in college, I was 18. I haven't had a corona since.
I love musicals!! watching, listening, and I will do my own private performances at home, alone.
Dang! Speedy girl!
DeleteI guess you didn't like the Corona. :) I never had one. I'm not a beer girl.
I love musicals too!!! That's why I sent you my Rent snap yesterday.
What Wendy said! I can't believe you were an extra in the movie Girl, Interrupted! THAT IS SO COOL. Andrew will be jealous. His dream is to be in a movie. Actually he was an extra, once, but in a really small local movie when he was a kid. Haha he likes to take that one for a ride. My first sip of alcohol was in grade 9. We were at a party (a goody goody one) and me and 2 of my friends took off, flagged down a Kokanee truck and the guy gave us a 6-pack.
ReplyDeleteWhat is a Kokanee truck? What made you decide that night that you were gonna drink?
Delete14?? What was it?
