Christmas exploded in our house!
Hello, Friends! FINALLY, I am totally decorated for Christmas, both indoor and outdoor! I wasn't as motivated to decorate this year, but I rallied and got 'er done. Here ya go!
OK, I'm loving all the decorations but also I'm amazed that you can see the top of your dining room table! We have a dining room table and kitchen table and both are just storage at this point. We eat at the narrow table that's behind the sofa.
Megan, your house looks absolutely beautiful! I love what you do and thank you so much for the tour! And no, you don't have a problem. I love how much you love the holidays! Never let that go!
I'm really into white lights now too! I put garland with white lights all down my staircase!
Looking out your window is so funny seeing all the backs of the outdoor characters. I would want to turn them around so they were facing me when I look out the window! haha
Christmas is the best christmas decor in the house!
OMGGGG I had the little baby on the moon ornament but the baby had dark hair! haha! My mom still has it I'm sure. She never gave me any of our ornaments so now I am trying to start my own collection!
Wow your moms picture is so beautiful! she is a great photographer!
I'm already thinking about how sad I am going to be to take all the decorations down. I love all the lights around the house at night and I loooooove looking at the tree all lit up! I guess the seasonality is what makes it special and exciting though!

ReplyDeleteThe only thing that is ever on our dining room table is a puzzle or a cat. :) I don't like clutter. "Outer order, inner calm" is my mantra!
DeleteI'm trying to adopt "Surfaces are for activity, not for storage" (another Gretchen Rubin gem!) but it's slow going. REALLY slow going, haha.
DeleteGretchen Rubin is a genius!
DeleteVery nice decorations! Everything looks so sparkly and clean! Nope, I don't decorate the back of my toilet ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL what are you waiting for? :)

ReplyDeleteThank you Susan! :) Thanks for watching and your kind word. :)
DeleteI love that you display stuff that actually has a meaning. Those are the beat kind of holiday decorations!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree.

Maybe you can keep your white lights up after Christmas? Then it will still be festive.
DeleteLOL @ your turning around the outdoor characters comment. :)
I can't believe you have the same ornament as me! If you get it, take a pic I want to see it.
