Saturday- 6 miles. The sky was so pretty! Then we walked about 2 miles during the Tasting Tour of Millersburg!
Sunday- Lifting at home. I didn't feel like lifting, but hasn't that been the theme of the past couple weeks? It's kind of a bummer because I used to like to lift a lot.
Monday- 6 miles before work. I didn't have any Big Brother podcasts to listen to so I had to listen to Stuff You Should Know. I learned about pain scales, foreign accent syndrome, and itches.
Tuesday- 6 morning miles. Not only do I keep running the same 1.5 miles loop four times in the morning, but apparently I keep wearing the same sports bra! (I have multiple sports bras that are exactly the same. I'm not wearing them two days in a row!)
Wednesday- Lifting chest @ home. I did lots of push ups and lots of planks.
Thursday- 6 miles. Doo-dee-doo-dee-doo.
Friday- GYM DAY! I tore up Planet Fitness! We had off for the holiday so I was able to sleep in and take my time. I had an excellent Big Brother podcast to listen to and the gym was dead. Paul came along too. It was a great workout!

I feel ya on the sports bra. When I like something I buy the same thing over and over so I have multiples. Nothing wrong with that! Looks like you got some great workouts in this week even if you run the same loops over and over, you got it done.

Yeah those sports bras were $3.99 from Gabe's! Now my shorts... I got those at wal mart and since I found ones I liked, I got about 9 pairs in various colors.

DeleteYou had a great week for workouts! BTW, have you done a PT post lately? Are you still having issues with your knee and nerve issue? Do you still do your exercises? Last week I ran 12.4; walked 5.5; biked 20.5; rowed 1.5, swam 1.25; hiked (in Grand Lake) 3 and had 4 lifting sessions. Sunday = total rest day (yay!)
ReplyDeleteGood question! I haven't done PT exercises in over a month and guess what... my hip/groin shit went away. Knee has been good (obviously not doing squats) and nerve is 90% better. It's weird. I should write more about it.

When I find something I like I buy multiple too! Even in the same color, especially if it's on sale. I sometimes worry about wearing the same things over and over on my blog but then I remind myself I am not a fashion blogger and who cares anyways?
ReplyDeleteWhen you listen to podcasts while lifting do you have to go back and re-listen to some parts? I can't concentrate on stories/interviews while I'm lifting at all because I miss so much. Adam listens to podcasts when he lifts and doesn't have that issue though.
No I don't have any issue at all listening/lifting. I mean, obviously there are always times I randomly zone out while listening to a podcast and I have to back up, but that could be while I'm doing anything- running, driving, cleaning, etc. It doesn't happen more often while lifting or anything. Now remember, I mostly listen to murder and Big Brother podcasts so it's not like it's not like it is complicated topics. :)
