Saturday- Lifting @ Planet Fitness. Nothing special to report!
Sunday- Dam Half Marathon! I had a fun time and did really well! Race recap here. My back hurt in the car on the way to the race but not during the race or even later in the day. WTF!? I mean, it's a good thing, but I just couldn't believe it didn't get tight. I'm sure the soft surface of the trail is better than pounding on the road, but still...
Monday- Lifting @ home. I was going to do a deck of cards workout but I had some DOMs- quads and ankles. I wanted to lift at the gym but Paul was still in Vermont and if I went to the gym, that meant the cats would have been alone from 5:45-4:00. I didn't want to do that to my babies! My back felt great the whole day. I even wore a low heel to work...
Tuesday- Deck of cards workout and Zumba videos in my carport!!!
Wednesday- 5 miler. I was still a little sore from my race but I didn't feel the soreness during my run. My hammys and groin felt a little weird but I think they just needed to loosen up a bit after the run. My back did not hurt!
Thursday- 2 deck of cards workouts and 15 minutes of ZUMBAAAA IN DA CARPORT!
Friday- 5 miles and 15 minutes of Zumba in the carport. But my back hurt later. Boo.

Yay for the times you had no back pain but boo for it showing up later. Are their certain moves that might trigger it?
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about leaving Baylee alone all day so that's when I choose to do workout at home.
Running on the road bothers it. Zumba , deck of cards, and trail running does not.thats all I have so far!

ReplyDeleteNice job with the workouts! That is good news you had some times when you didn't have back pain. Do you do Zumba from YouTube videos? I wish I love Zumba like you do. I am really terrible at it!
ReplyDeleteYes I do the videos on Youtube. I just play them on my phone and crank up the sound on my wireless head phones :)
