There wasn't too much excitement going on this week. I'm running a half tomorrow so I'm trying to take it easy.
Saturday- 6 neighborhood miles. I actually cannot remember this run! I know I did it though.
Sunday- Lifting at home.
Monday- 6.5 miles in Hershey (I got a little lost at the end). While Paul got a massage, I went for a run. I did not enjoy this run at all. I ran on the paved trail that goes by the main road and around some of the hospital grounds. There were too many cars and I just couldn't relax.
Tuesday- 6 morning miles. I was creeped out from a new murder podcast! Be sure to check out Cold Case Murder Mysteries!
Wednesday- Lifting @ home. Sometimes after I lift, I can't decide what to eat for breakfast and I venture outside my usual breakfast foods. This morning I had quinoa surprise (quinoa with tons of veggies in it) with cut up chicken.
Thursday- 6 morning miles. I've never broken down and cried during a run until today. I was listening to one of Vox's podcasts called Today, Explained. The episode is called 20 shots and a cell phone. You can listen to it here.
Friday- 6 morning miles. This was the first GOOD night of sleep I had all week!

Yay for a good night's sleep. I'm sorry you did not enjoy your run in Hershey. I get excited when I get to run on a new path but having to deal with traffic would have stressed me out too. Good luck on your half today! -M
ReplyDeleteThanks girl! Half is tomorrow. Can't wait!
DeleteThat is a different breakfast! Funny how some things just aren't considered "breakfast food". I usually stick to the usual suspects for breakfast and don't venture far off the path! Hope you had a great race today!
ReplyDeleteThere is a teacher at my school who I see in the mornings and she eats non breakfast foods in the morning as well. Sometimes she has cheese for bfast, sometimes a sandwich...
