Hola! Here are my workouts. You know the Saturday drill!
Saturday- 10 miles on the AT with Kristen and Anne. We met at the top of Peter's Mountain and ran north for a little over an hour, then turned back. We did go down into the Ibberson conservation area too. I love running with Kristen and Anne. We just jibber jabber the whole time. It was dark for the first 20 minutes, but it made for a beautiful sunrise!
Sunday- Rest day. I could have lifted, but I was too bust being productive doing household type stuff! I only got about 5,500 steps in.
Monday- 6 miler. It was nice to have the sun come up again during my run! It allowed me to run some different parts of my neighborhood that I am too scared to run in while it's pitch dark. I don't live in a bad neighborhood or anything, it's just what the murder podcasts have done to me!
Tuesday- 6 neighborhood miles. This run was chilly!
Wednesday- Lifting back @ home. Guys, I am doing ALL THE PULL UPS these days!
Thursday- 6 SLOW, CHILLY miles. I ran a route I hadn't run in a long time.
Friday- 6 neighborhood miles. I had off work for Vetaran's Day and almost didn't even run. It looked sooooo cold out! However, it wasn't bad at all, and since I have really warm clothes, I was sweating within the first quarter mile.
Wednesday- Lifting back @ home. Guys, I am doing ALL THE PULL UPS these days!
I have a hard time getting motivated to run in the cold but now that I have my lined runing clothes it doesn't bother me as much and like you said I end up feeling like "oh that wasn't that cold"...haha. My perspective on weather has really changed since being a runner!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice you have clothes to keep you warm! Paul forgot to wash my warm pants last night (he said he did, but he actually didn't) so I had to wear SHORTS on my run this am! IT WAS FREAKING FREEZING.
