Currently...

Current book: The Catcher in the Rye. I have read this book many times and decided to reread it again. Catcher is one of my favorite books. I love Holden and I love how he talks. Everyone is a phony in his eyes!

Current music: The Jesus Christ Super Star soundtrack. I am totally hooked again.

Current guilty pleasure: Nancy Grace is ON DEMAND!

Current nail color: I am getting rid of this question because I bite my nails. I am replacing it with Current number of Seinfeld episodes on my DVR: Nine.

Current drink: Margaritas! That's right, I can drink tequila again! I had a bad reaction to tequila (aka I drank too damn much of it) at a Rent cast party almost three years ago. But I can drink it again! The moral of this story? Never give up.

Current food: I'm eating tomatoes and peppers out the wazoo due to the fruitfulness of my garden. In fact, I have a ton of tomatoes that I will never be able to eat before they go bad. If you live near me and want to swing by for some tomatoes, please do!

Current favorite show: Big Brother 16! (Go Donny!) Also, we just bought Survivor Season 10: Palua off iTunes and we are loving all the crazy characters on that season. We love survivor.

Donny FTW!

Current wish list: Eyebrows waxed, hair cut and colored, new lawn mower.

How about a mower like this!?

Current need: New running shoes.

Current triumph: Finally chopping off Jelly's butt knot.

Current bane of my existence: Summer is almost over.

Current celebrity crush:  I'm getting rid of this question because it is silly. Let's replace it with Current most annoying celebrity: Easy, Jenny McCarthy

Current indulgence: Weekly trips to DQ for Blizzards!

Current things I am thankful for: Being home.

Current slang: We have been purposefully saying the word "strength" without the "g" sound so it is like this: "strenth". Don't ask.

Current excitement: My personal training web site is up and running and I'm open for business! (I will stop talking about it soon, I promise!)

Current link: Megan Michael Training (just as soon as I plug it one more time!)

Tell me something "current" about you!

  1. Jesus Christ Superstar! LOVE. "Whats that buzz, tell me what's happening".
It's funny because on my iPod I have a playlist for show-tunes. My dream would be a Broadway star but since I am tone deaf and can't sing (but still do), that probably isn't on the radar.

My current excitement is that I am signed up for a yoga retreat in Mexico in February. It will be yoga 2 x per day and lots of vinyasa which is not my strongest but I am up for the challenge to get ready for this!

    Have an awesome Sunday!

  3. Mmmm Blizzards...It's a good thing DQ is like 20 minutes from my house or I'd go daily, too. And I've been ALL about margaritas this summer. Obsessed.

    1. I blame Paul. He is the one who always wants to go, and since he can't drive, I have to take him. Which means of course, I have to get a blizzard too!

  4. Catcher in the rye is an all time favorite! I think I've had Holden's voice in my head since 6th grade when I first read it. Currently happy that the kids are playing well together, even though my eardrums are punctured from it :)

    1. That is awesome! You had high class taste for a 6th grader. I read it in HS and the only reason I remember is because my parents dated the copy they got for me. I'm glad your kiddos are playing harmoniously. If they are being loud, they are surely having fun!

  5. Current weirdest conversation I've had with someone:

Me: I had toast for breakfast!

Her: Toast? That's what old people eat for breakfast.

    ... what?

  7. Oh great now I want a blizzard. Why couldn't I want tomatoes or peppers, lol. I love hearing about your website and training! Matt and I are Seinfeld addicts. Matt can basically quote every.single.show. I cannot.
