COLORADO!!!!!!

The cat is out of the bag! We spent the past several days in Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs and some other surrounding, beautiful areas! We're coming home today. I can't wait to see my kitty cats!

Thanks to everyone for playing along! And congrats to Cassie @ Rural Running Redhead who figured it out on the second day... which I knew she would, since she is FROM COLORADO!!!

Nice job, Cassie!

Echo Lake Park

Boulder, CO

I know I have been MIA as far as reading, commenting, and responding to comments... It just has to happen when you're on vacation! I had a ton of fun but it will be fun to get back home, relax, and catch up with everyone.

I will give you a re-cap of our vay-cay as soon as I can catch my breath!
Have you ever been to Colorado?
How many hairballs and puddles of pee do you think await us?

  1. Beautiful pictures? Have you been blogging on your phone since you've been way? If so, may I ask how you got the text over top of your picture? Have a safe flight home. I'm sure the kitties will be excited to see you both.

  5. I am totally biased because I live in Loveland Colorado and I truly feel we have one of the prettiest states :)

I hope you had so much fun while you were in our state. What did you think of early morning running with no humidity and cooler temps?

    1. You are not biased, you are correct! It is AMAZING how gorgeous our country is, we are so lucky. PA is very pretty, but a totally different landscape from CO. We just kept saying, "Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww" the whole time! I am in LOVE with CO!

    2. Besides southern Colorado (Durango area) Boulder is my favorite place further north. Any chance Rick and I get to hang out there, we do. LOVE IT.

  7. I KNEW it! :) Since you flew into DIA, though, you can understand now why I don't have trails to run. Remember how it was flat and mountain-less at the airport? Now go east another 1.5 hours, and that's me.

    1. Yes! I do get it now! DIA is out in the middle of freaking NOWHERE. I see they are working on getting a light rail to take you into the city. That will be nice so then people won't have to rent cars and the car rental companies won't be able to gouge your eyes out... Yeah, we had some rental car troubles lol. When I was driving to Garden of the Gods, my friend Kim pointed out the Sante Fe trail and I thought, I wonder if that is the one Cassie ran? Well, when I got back online I looked at your blog again and saw that yes, that was indeed the one you did your 17 on!
