Current book: I am currently between books… A trip to
the library is in order!
This was the last good one I read!
Current music: There is this song Paul and I listen to
all the time because it makes us happy. It’s called Lollipop by Mika.
Seriously, listen to this and try not to smile. I have a silly dance I do that
goes with it. The dance must only be done when I’m wearing my reindeer pajamas.
Current guilty pleasure: These little lemon bites I got for 99
cents at Aldi. They are HEAVEN. They actually taste like Fruit Loops.
Current nail color: I bite my fingernails so they are never
painted. Right now, my toenails are a bright coral color.
Current drink: Morning: coffee. Evening: merlot or
scotch, depending on my mood.
Current food: I just started making myself salads w/ ground turkey, sweet potatoes, eggs, and crumbled blue cheese. I don't know what to call them, I am really into them!
Current favorite show: All our favorite shows have wrapped up for
the season! Most recently, Survivor Cagayan. We love Survivor!
Current wish
list: I want a summer trial to watch on HLN. I just read a book about the Jodi
Arias Trial and I remembered how fun it is to get captivated by trials.
Current need: A haircut.
Yikes!
Current triumph:
Beating Paul in Rummy. But I can’t get too high-horsey about it because by the
time you read this, he probably will have beaten me.
Chrissy tries to play!
Current bane of my existence: The veggies that are cut up, in Tupper
ware, ready to grill. They have been in my fridge for over a week and if they
don’t get used soon, they are going to rot!
Current celebrity crush: I think I am too old for celebrity
crushes.
Current indulgence: We went out to eat two weekends in a row.
That’s a big indulgence for us.
Current things I am thankful for: Paul, the kitties, warm
weather
Current slang: Wacko. I have been saying it a lot.
Current excitement: Heading up to my hometown today to visit with family and go for a run!
