Well, hello there!

Good Morning!

If you are an early morning reader of Meg Go Run, you may have noticed my blog was a bit messed up this morning. That's because our internet was out all day yesterday and this morning, so I couldn't update my blog or reschedule any posts. Hopefully the internet issue is sorted out today. Verizon Fios has been very unreliable for us this month and I'm pissed.

Internet or no internet, it's good to be home! We were away for three days in Charlottesville, VA, and while we had a great time and the length of the trip was perfect, we are homebodies and creatures of habit. We were happy to come back to our little house on Cumberland Road.

The cats were so excited to see us! Because we were only gone for two nights, we didn't have a house/cat sitter, just friends and neighbors checking in on the cats. But our kitties are used to nearly round the clock attention, so they were starving for it when we got home. Chrissy didn't leave my side and his purring was on autopilot!

This week, I will have so many posts for you about our trip! I'll have my race recap, hiking stories, and of course lots of pictures of the other things we did while we were away. Stay tuned!

  1. Because Cecil is used to around-the-clock attention he greets us and purrs any time we leave the house for more than an hour. We do a thing called "the family hug" when we get home and he's waiting for us at the door where I pick him up and then Adam hugs us (so Cecil is in the middle of us). He purrs so loudly :).

Can't wait to hear all about the trip!

    1. Omg Paul and I do something similar to your family hug! We do a double kiss where I kiss one of Chrissy's cheeks and Paul kisses the other and we just hold it there while he purrs. :)
