Exercising... my right to vote!

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...

This morning, I will make my biannual detour at the end of my run and swing by the Lower Allen Township Fire Company building to VOTE!

Rolling up to the polls sweaty and high on endorphins makes voting even more exciting than it already is!

Can you believe it hasn't even been 100 years since women have been allowed to vote? Now they say women voters are the ones who decide the election!

Ladies, your vote is important!

Hey PA voters! Three out of seven of the PA Supreme Court seats are up for election today! Check out this site for some more info.

Whether you're a man, woman, republican, democrat, or independent, get your butt to the polls today and VOTE! Polls in PA are open from 7am-8pm!

  1. I love voting! Matt thinks I'm crazy because I love to go to the polls and I dance around while waiting in line. I'm so excited to see Suffragette. (Even with the controversy surrounding it.) Sometimes I try to explain to my students, in light of all the attacks on women's autonomy these days, how women had to fight for equality, but it's often lost on them.

    Go change the world!!

    1. That's awesome! Ohio is voting on that today. Is it medicinal in Canada? It needs to be medicinal here but unfortunately it's only medicinal in certain states. :(

    1. That is awesome! My mom used to always take me w/ her and that is where I got my love to vote and my understanding of how important it is.

  6. Good for you for doing your civic duty! I don't usually vote in these small elections. I know I should but I just don't feel like I know enough about the candidates other than the signs I see in people's yards and hate to vote for whoever is most popular!

    1. I understand. If I don't know the candidates I vote down party lines. 9 times out of 10 it is who I would have voted for anyway! Polls are open until 8pm- there is still time!
