What's In My Bag (VLOG!)

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
Hello blog readers! I hope this morning you will become blog watchers and take a look at my video blog I recorded yesterday.

This "What's In My Bag" vlog is inspired by Kristina @ Kristina Running. If you are not reading Kristina's blog yet, you really should be. She is an excellent writer and recently starting adding video blogs to her list of things she is good at. It is fun to follow Kristina's training plans as well as what is going on in her life.

So here is my video blog for the day. I do not edit (because I don't know how) so any mistakes or stupid things I say just have to stay!

I invite you to do a "What's In My Bag" vlog!
Or you can leave a comment about what you always have in your purse!

  1. I always have snacks in my purse too...I always keep a clean pair of running socks in there (I keep and extra pair of sneakers in the car) when I am waiting for kids at drop off/ pick up I can go for a walk (sandals would end up bothering my feet for long distances). I also keep a book for waiting...right now, "In the Unlikely Event" by Judy Blume.

    1. Extra socks is a good idea! I need to keep extra socks at work because sometimes when I go to the gym before work and shower there, I forget to bring a change of socks. Then I am stuck wearing like knee high boots with NO SOCKS all day. So gross.

  2. I really think you are the last person to not have a smart phone! I really can't imagine not having one these days. I like using a day planner too. I just can't get used to keeping track of everything in my phone! And yes to always having snacks in your purse:)

    1. My parents don't have smartphones so I am no the last person... but pretty close to last! I know once I get one I will never be able to live without one again so I am just putting it off because I genuinely don't NEED one. It would just be a perk/convenience for me.

  3. LOVE! I wish I was brave enough to do one of these but I feel like I'm too shy!!! How weird since I put so much of my life on the internet.

Fun Fact: when one of my sisters were here she had to call the airline because her flight got cancelled and they told her the wait time was 3+ hours!!!!!!!! :0

    1. Oh come on teacher you can't be too shy. :) Just pretend we are your students!

Ugh that is an airline horror story. :( I am actually really afraid to fly. I am going to need to get my hands on lots of Ativan for Dec when I fly next!

  4. I love giant vacation purses...the only problem is that they end up hurting my shoulder if I wear them all day! I love being able to fit a jacket in my purse, though.

    1. Yes, that is the down side. I have definitely had it too heavy before.

  5. This was a fun post. Each day for work, I have a work bag that has my wallet, some make up stuff, my phone, my daytimer (yes, I use the paper kind too) and my lunch. But if we go out at night, I use a very, very tiny purse that only carries my phone, a lipstick (Rick's got all the cash). What more could a girl need?!?

    1. I love little tiny purses!!! It would be a totally boring video. "here is my phone, here is my lipstick, here is my tampon" hahaha

  6. I loved your video!!!!! It's the best!

This is probably going to sound so weird since Aldi is a normal place for you, but I had never heard of it before I started reading your blog. Just recently a billboard went up right outside my office for the first Aldi in Miami and every day when I look at the billboard I think of you!

Also, I had forgotten that flights make you nervous. I am so happy that you're braving the plan to fly to FL!

    1. Flying makes me soooooooooo nervous. I mean, I was shaking as I was choosing my seats online. I'm not kidding.

I am HONORED that you think of Aldi when you pass the billboard. :) Now, if you ever get the chance, you must go in and see how cheap and quirky it is! You will never pay more than $1.59 for a black of cheese again!
