Happy Friday! (Brrrrrrr!!!)

Look what was waiting for me bright and early this morning...

That's the batch of chicken breast Paul made for me for the next couple days.
What a sweetie!!!

I hope you all have a fun weekend planned! I have nothing planned. Absolutely nothing. And that's totally fine by me! It's too freaking cold out to do anything. Actually, last night, our heat stopped working. Hopefully someone comes to fix it today.

I'm sure my hubby and I will have a grocery shopping date one of these nights. We need the essentials... chicken, cat litter, milk, ice cream... That's the only excitement we have planned. It's fine, we love our Wal Mart dates.

A big decision must be made in the next few days. I have to sign up for my ACE Personal Training Certification test by February 2nd. I can schedule my test anytime between now and... well, probably as late as August. It's totally up to me, and I don't know what to do.

Of course I am very excited to be certified. It would be awesome to have the certification as soon as possible. But I know I am not ready yet. If I really buckled down, I could be ready in a month. The other option is to take my time and wait until closer to summer to get certified. Which isn't that bad of an idea because in the summer, I will have more time to focus on setting up my business and getting a few clients.

It shouldn't be that hard of a decision. I should just suck it up, finish my studying, and get the certification. But to be honest, there is another part of me that is very nervous. Will a be a good trainer? How do I set up a business? There is so much I need... equipment, insurance, waivers... and probably one hundred other things I haven't even thought of yet!

I'll let you know on February 2nd what I decided to do!

Do you have any fun plans this weekend?
Is it cold where you live?
Are you judging me for shopping at Wal Mart? (hehe!)

  1. No fun plans sadly because I have a bunch of work to do :( set a date! It will focus you! Even if it's far in the future, at least you'll know what you have to do.

  2. No judging here. I prefer Target, but Walmart is much closer to my house! It's cold here too. I think i'll be staying in working on some projects!

  3. Hhaha that picture is too funny. One time I asked a friend if he was cold because it was freezing out and he wasn't wearing a jacket. He said no, but I pointed out that he was lying because of those "peas" lol (I'm so mature).

Tonight Adam and I have a fun date night planned. Workout hard then use the $50 gift card we have to Chillies to eat all the calories back :)

  4. I'm very interested in getting my personal trainer certification too. It's kind of on my bucket list. I'm scared because of all the science I would have to do though.

Boyfriend and I have a Costco date every week. We're pretty cute. ;-)

    1. Haha try not to get too wild and crazy!!! For PT- There were a few topics that took me a little while to understand (mostly because I chose the "teach myself everything on my own" option"... and I am not a science person either!), but for the most part, it is just a lot of reading, review... time consuming. But INTERESTING! I mean, at least they are mostly topics that are interesting and I can relate to. I think you should totally do it!

  5. I'm kind of judging you for shopping there...lol! Just kidding. In LA the only Wal-mart in a 10 mile radius resembles the 7th circle of hell. I'm more of a Target girl. Looking forward to hearing your decision! My plans this weekend include one sort of long run (7 miles-last weekend run before the 1/2) and having a potluck Sat night at my house to watch a movie. And catching up on all the oscar-type movies that just came out on DVD. Yay!

    1. LOL! That sounds like some of the Wal Marts around here. The Wal Mart in Harrisburg is absolutely terrible. We went to the "nice" Wal Mart tonight and it was still bad. Your weekend sounds awesome! Potluck and a movie... I should organize something like that. Good luck with your LAST RUN BEFORE THE HALF!! :) You're going to rock it out.

  6. I love weekends of nothing to do! I'm such an introvert...sitting at home in PJs is the best weekend EVER to me!
