Did the pain ever come back, or was it just that one night? Sometimes I get pain like that and I really think it's nerve pain for no apparent reason at all!

I'm impressed that you stuck it out and did 13 miles despite feeling like crud the whole time!Ali K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15736472530374069410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6003023702428993428.post-77850563838452795762016-10-30T20:15:24.549-04:002016-10-30T20:15:24.549-04:00That is so weird about your ankle!!! I get random pains all the time and never ever remember them because they are random and don't come back.Meg Go Runhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11707890742715926971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6003023702428993428.post-82627845174723149312016-10-30T19:28:19.280-04:002016-10-30T19:28:19.280-04:00OH NO, I'm sorry you had such a crappy run and...OH NO, I'm sorry you had such a crappy run and your foot was hurting so bad. The good news is that you ran a half marathon and then enjoyed a good meal!

I had a similar thing this weekend where I was just sitting down flexing my foot and then shooting pain took over my entire ankle area on my right foot. I got up to walk it out and each time I took a step it was more stabbing pain. I was literally hobbling. I massaged my ankle and felt a BALL under my skin, but before I could really figure out what the ball was it was gone and instantly my ankle was back to normal. WTF? A friend said it could be rheumatoid arthritis? I have no idea what it is and I refuse to look it up unless this happens again.

Also, I wish I could just answer clients with a "nope" at my job, but I realize it's kind of a rude thing to do! What is wrong with me? I did split it into two runs so I didn't even think about it. Just not right :)TechChickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11960422420943812763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6003023702428993428.post-85204769998191767602016-10-30T09:58:43.667-04:002016-10-30T09:58:43.667-04:00LOL...so you said to show Rick your Sunday post bu...LOL...so you said to show Rick your Sunday post but I can't cuz you have some pictures of your feet and Rick CANNOT STAND feet (except mine of course). But joking aside, I know you want me to show your Survivor post AND I am glad your toe is nothing serious. Way to persevere on your run--wow. I would probably have not done that. I am all about not pushing through adversity (not proud of that) so I really admire and respect that about you. I hope you have a most wonderful Sunday!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08177308883627646456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6003023702428993428.post-85781239868142317142016-10-30T09:00:24.714-04:002016-10-30T09:00:24.714-04:00Idk about H2O2 helping your toe--I'd soak in w...Idk about H2O2 helping your toe--I'd soak in warm water with epsom salts. It has to be an ingrown toenail or something. It hurts less today than it did yesterday. But Early Saturday morning... omg it felt like someone was sawing my toe off!Meg Go Runhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11707890742715926971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6003023702428993428.post-12028403456726638322016-10-30T08:07:09.050-04:002016-10-30T08:07:09.050-04:00We don't have hills here so I don't know h...We don't have hills here so I don't know how strong I am on them. I've only run on a hill a few times and that was when I was out of town. I tend to do well on the bridge/connector runs around here. Or at least I did until last Saturday, which yeah that was my last cruddy run.

You got through a really tough one... it builds you up mentally to run when things get in the way like your toe and the cop. But I hope you get the toe issue figured out. I can't say I've ever heard of pain in the 4th toe? Big toe and pinky toe, yeah. Just be careful with it, bc no training run is worth an injury.

Oh, and you can't beat a good salad... I love the grocery store salads here!
