I write them up for it because 1. They're not allowed to have it at school, and 2. Even if they were allowed to have it, I wouldn't permit it in my music room. Kids DO make DISGUSTING sniffing noises and I order them to get a tissue because I CAN'T STAND IT. Now, if you chewed gum near me, it most likely would not bother me because we are not "close", you know what I mean? This sounds weird, but I can just kind of look at someone and be able to tell you whether them chewing gum would gross me out or not. I do not think you would gross me out. I mean, unless you were an obnoxious chewer. But if you were just "normal" it wouldn't bother me. Breathing loudly is one of them. I have since decided breathing loudly = snoring so I wake him up if he does it (as I do when he snores) so that he can roll on his side and thus, stop snoring/breathing loud. I fear there will be a time when that doesn't work and we need to sleep in separate rooms.Meg Go Runhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11707890742715926971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6003023702428993428.post-58713018568506829242017-04-26T10:20:31.732-04:002017-04-26T10:20:31.732-04:00I can handle normal, mouth closed chewing, but any...I can handle normal, mouth closed chewing, but any sort of snoring or throat clearing sound is nails on a chalkboard to me. There's still time. Okay, so this makes me think of something... so over the years, when I've either had my hair cut at the salon or just had different people play with my hair over the years, there are certain people that give me that fuzzy feeling in my tummy, that euphoric feeling in my head, tingling up my spine, when they touch my hair, and other people do not. And there's no rhyme or reason, either. I've always been curious as to why this happens and wondered if anyone else experiences this too!
