I didn't see a doctor, bc I'm weird. But it went away on its own. <br /><br />For the hip abductor pain, I do the happy baby stretch and that helps a lot! I'm not an expert, so don't take my advice too seriously. Strength training is awesome too and you probably needed the week to recover from running and the march. I wouldn't worry too much about it. <br /><br />When we went to Seattle Clay and I walked everywhere. We walked about as many miles as I would run on those days but I was soooo sore! I think because I was standing on my feet so much longer than usual. Sorry your legs are still recovering from the walking--it's so true you use your legs differently when you walk than when you run and they certainly let you know! My hamstrings (esp my right one) are jerks. I gotta just be careful and I would say HIKING is what really makes them mad. I had good workouts. 4 runs, 2 swims and 3 each of yoga and weights. I am starting to miss my bike (outdoors!).
